Please read these Terms and Conditions carefully before using the Pragati Setu app and website. By using our services, you agree to be bound by these terms.

Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using the Pragati Setu mobile application, website (pragatisetu.in), or any related services (collectively, the "Services"), you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, you must not use our Services. We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time; your continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years of age (or the minimum age required in your jurisdiction) to use our Services. By using Pragati Setu, you represent that you meet this requirement and have the legal capacity to enter into a binding agreement. If you are using the Services on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization to these Terms.

"No Login" Policy

Pragati Setu is designed for privacy. We do not ask for your name, email, or phone number. Your mock test progress and premium status are linked to your Google Play Account or stored locally on your device. You are responsible for the security of your device and your Google account. We may take action against use that violates these Terms or that we reasonably believe is fraudulent or abusive.

Description of Services

Pragati Setu provides exam preparation tools including but not limited to:

  • Previous year question (PYQ) banks and practice tests.
  • Live and practice mock tests.
  • Digital library and study materials.
  • Job alerts and recruitment updates.
  • Current affairs and daily challenges.

We strive to keep the Services available and accurate but do not guarantee uninterrupted access or that content will be error-free. We may add, change, or discontinue features with reasonable notice where practicable.

Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Use the Services for any illegal purpose or in violation of any law.
  • Copy, scrape, or redistribute our content without permission.
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems or other users' accounts.
  • Use bots, scripts, or automated tools to access the Services except as we permit.
  • Harass, abuse, or harm other users or our staff.
  • Upload malware, spam, or content that infringes others' rights.

We may investigate violations and take appropriate action, including suspending or terminating your access and reporting to authorities.

Intellectual Property

All content, features, and functionality of Pragati Setu (including text, graphics, logos, software, and design) are owned by us or our licensors and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, or create derivative works from our content without our prior written consent. Limited use for personal, non-commercial study is permitted in accordance with these Terms.

User Content

If you submit feedback, comments, or other content ("User Content"), you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide license to use, display, and modify such content in connection with operating and improving our Services. You represent that you have the right to grant this license and that your User Content does not violate any third-party rights or these Terms. We may remove User Content at our discretion without notice.

Subscriptions & Payments

Some features may require a paid subscription or one-time purchase (e.g., the Premium version). Fees will be displayed before you complete a purchase. Payment terms, refunds, and cancellation will be as stated at the time of purchase and in applicable app store policies (including Google Play). We may change pricing with notice; continued use after a price change constitutes acceptance. All fees are in Indian Rupees (INR) unless otherwise stated.

Premium subscription & ad removal: If you purchase the Premium version, ads will be removed from your interface. The purchase is linked to your Google Account. If you change your phone, you may use "Restore Purchase" with the same Google account to restore your Premium status.

Refund: Subscriptions and in-app purchases are generally not refundable. We will refund only in the case of a technical mistake with payment for example, if you were charged more than the displayed price (e.g., charged twice for a single purchase, or charged ₹299 when the price shown was ₹199). In all other cases we do not offer refunds. For example: change of mind, accidental purchase, no longer needing the app, switching to a new device (use "Restore Purchase" instead), or dissatisfaction with content are not grounds for refund. Refund requests for eligible technical errors may be sent to us; we will verify with our payment provider and process refunds in accordance with Google Play's policies.

Disclaimers

THE SERVICES ARE PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. WE DO NOT GUARANTEE THAT USE OF PRAGATI SETU WILL RESULT IN PASSING ANY EXAM OR OBTAINING ANY EMPLOYMENT. WE DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES REGARDING ACCURACY, COMPLETENESS, OR RELIABILITY OF CONTENT. YOU USE THE SERVICES AT YOUR OWN RISK.

Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, PRAGATI SETU AND ITS AFFILIATES, OFFICERS, AND EMPLOYEES SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OR GOODWILL, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICES. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM, OR ONE HUNDRED INDIAN RUPEES (INR 100), WHICHEVER IS GREATER. SOME JURISDICTIONS DO NOT ALLOW CERTAIN LIMITATIONS; IN SUCH CASES, OUR LIABILITY WILL BE LIMITED TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW.

Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Pragati Setu and its affiliates, officers, directors, and employees from and against any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your use of the Services, your User Content, or your violation of these Terms or any law.

Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Services at any time, with or without cause or notice. You may stop using the Services at any time and may request account deletion subject to our data retention policy. Upon termination, your right to use the Services ceases immediately. Because we do not require login, "termination" may mean revoking access to the app or website. Provisions that by their nature should survive (including intellectual property, disclaimers, limitation of liability, and indemnification) will remain in effect.

Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising from these Terms or the Services shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in Gujarat, India.

Changes to Terms

We may revise these Terms from time to time. We will post the updated Terms on this page and update the "Last updated" date. For material changes, we may notify you via email or in-app notification. Your continued use of the Services after the effective date of changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms. If you do not agree, you must stop using the Services.
